 Post subject: Baby Delortos

My uncle's just got a set of baby dells , On barrel of one carb is loading up! He states that even when you shut the motor off that one barrel is still dripping gas? Anyone got an answer for him? Thanks in advanced

Check the float level, possibly need to lower it.
Fuel pump might have too much pressure also, check that.

See if there is any junk built up on the tip of the float needle, holding it open.
(I guess Baby Dells have similiar float bowl system to 2 bbl, I never been in one :oops: )

Float level is fine, Float needle is clean, as well as the rest of the carb. Any other suggestions? oh yeah stock fuel pump. And all new gasket kit installed.

dont know about baby dels the other have leadplugs in some interal ports that come loose and need to be reseated or replaced

I agree with redrail1915 sounds like the "dellorto drip". Read this link it goes into some depth about it.

I recently had my dellorto drip repaired by A.C.E., i think i paid somewhere around 125 but got some other things done plus some jets. http://www.aircooledengineering.com/.
