First of all I want to let everyone know how proud I am to have started this site. It seems to me that our sport is just waiting to bust loose and grow like crazy. It also seems obvious that the members of this site are a huge part of making that happen.
There are lots of ideas in my head of what we need to do to keep this site growing. The problem is turning these ideas into action is not something I feel I can do on my own. So after giving this alot of thought I have asked three of the guys who have given unselfishly of their time and money to grow this site and do whats good for Woodsbuggies to be on what we have decided to call the Woodsbuggy.com Board of Directors.
As of now the this group will be made up of Dave Sayson (DVS1), Curtis Burns (Chaindrive Rail), Marty Robinson (Firebug) and Myself.
I have watched these guys over the last two years invest alot of time into working on the site, planning events, putting on parties and rides and not expecting a dime in return. We all have the same goal in mind for this site and that is to see Woodsbuggy.com grow this hobby/sport of ours to it's full potential.
We have alot of plans to make this happen. We are working on getting a Woodsbuggy into a national magazine. Along with a story about what we do.
Dave wants to look into ways to reach out to guys just like us all over the United States that are into buggies just like ours. Not all guys out west own $150,000 sand rails. Most are just like us.
Marty is working very hard at getting us involved in some arena events. These include timed runs and hillclimbs.
Curt, a guy who personifies hillclimbing and Woodsbuggies, has worked tirelessly to keep this site up and running. I could not afford to pay him for half the time he has put into maintaining and improving this site.
I learned along time ago that if you want to be successful you need to surround yourself with great people. That is what I have done.
Thank You,
Dean Marks

Speaking of exotic parties.....Your first one should be in Smithville, TN. I know a few guys that would like to attend.

I would like to thank anyone that is involved in the site especially the new B.O.D. I think that this sight is the best thing that has ever happened to this sport. I don't know if there is anything that I can do, but if you think there is please let me know.

THanks,
Buggymethis
