Here is a video from the area where the turkey run is held. It is the Friday (the day after) after Thanksgiving. Generally people start showing up at daylight and leave well after dark. There are several places to park, you can make the few mile ride into the area that most people do or, you can trailer your buggy to really close to the beginning of the hills. If anyone is interested in going you can email me ( khaney01@alltel.net ) for directions or to meet up and trailer over there together. There is usually several hundred people there, 40-50 buggies, and uncountable numbers of atvs.

This video is from a ride last year, not a big weekend either, just regulars. Go directly to the video on youtube and I posted a description of what you see in the vid. I am not sure who taped it but they bounced around to different hills giving the impression that it was just a long easy drive up "Undefeated". All the video is filmed from the top of "lookout hill", the first little hill you come to. The jeep is climbing a long easy hill, the atvs are climbing the backside of lookout, and the big hill you see is "Undefeated". Watch at 4:05 how far the extremely built banshee gets up undefeated. :D

Thats Dog!

His brother Tim (CRAB is his nickname)went several years ago and it was COLD!!! Tim shows up with enough clothes for 3 people and puts them all on with a whitesuit over it all. He wound up being called SNOWCRAB for several months after that.

You coming out this year?

From I-64
Take the KY-2 exit, EXIT 156, toward KY-59/VANCEBURG/OLIVE HILL.

Turn onto KY-2 toward Carter City. Left if you are traveling East, Right if you are traveling West.
0.2 mi

Turn LEFT onto KY-59.
9.2 mi

Turn LEFT onto KY-1068. Drive a couple miles on rt.1068 and watch to your left. There will be a field with a barn and some junk equipment around it. There should be a bunch of trucks/buggies/fourwheelers from about dawn on. rt.1068 is a one lane road with a few bad curves so be careful and don't drive too fast as the bad curves aren't marked.

Hope to see everyone there!

I haven't rode over at West Liberty in probably 10 years. I mainly ride around Rush, Lewis county, and parts of Greenup county. I'm planning on going over to W. Liberty next year to ride a little.

I've got a set of street tires that I throw on and road ride alot during the summer. No telling where I might end up on a nice sunny weekend.

Looking like it is going to be a cold one this year. I guess Ronnie Jr. is bringing his over, Eddie and Rick are going, Ricky Lewis should be there, Jeffery Lewis should be, I am, the Grayson crew, several guys are supposed to be coming from Cincy. Mix in the four wheelers and there should be a pretty big crowd.

As soon as that sweet, sweet char hits your lips you know you're in Lewis county freezing your nuts off.
