I am not sure how many are going to show up for this hillclimb but I think it is going to be wild. I am really excited about it. I have every intention of wining this thing. I know of a few other heavy hitters that are coming with the same idea. I really think that when it is all over the winner is going to load up and drive back to Ohio. I'm just not sure what part of Ohio.
One thing everyone can agree on is that Curt is a standout hillclimber. I for one am very excited to see what he has in store for us. I am going to feel alot better putting my money in the pot knowing he is running things and not competing with us.
I also think this is going to be a great show if you come to watch. From what I understand there is going to be LOTS of climbing.
There is alot more info in the upcoming events forum I just thought I would mention it here.
I can't wait to see some good friends again, and meet new ones.
Dean

That prize WILL go north, but not very far. Willie and Rhonda will be there.

You guys are right. I am pretty sure the winner will be headed to Ky. when this thing is over with. Unless I take I-40 to Bristol then pickup I-81 to I-77 North to Ohio. That would keep me from driving thru Ky. on my way home. Of course I-75 would be quicker for me. And that would cause the winner would be in Ky. for about 3 hr's.

Cant make it. Cant even go to my second home. Gotta work Friday and my youngest has his tenth birthday party on Saturday. Sounds like its gonna be a helluva show! Y'all have fun!! And make sure someone gets lots of videos, of the crowd and camps and all, not just the competition.

Thanks for the compliment Chris. I'll be there but I don't plan on competeing. I was planning on helping Curt (if I'm not too hung over). Anyway, I have this self diagnosed medical condition that requires me to drink beer when driving my buggy, so I'd have to start drinking real early to be able to compete and I may have to sleep late.

Curt

The event hasn't even happened yet and you already think you can't get banned. Talk about counting your chickens before they hatch.

Hell, I rolled over on flat ground last weekend, I don't stand a chance of keeping the shiny side up on a real hill.

That sounds great. I'll have plenty of medication (it could be tragic if I run out before I pass out). You may have to give me a ride in that bad ass honda machine though.
