Back years ago he had a buggy that was a three wheeler, You had to sit on top of the transmission and it had a long arm off the back with one wheel and that's where it steered from. But it did not go down hill very well.

Im running a 1984 Vanagon Trans in my Buggy. I went this route because of the much stronger reverse gear. I actually tryed to pull a Buggy up hill in reverse with it and the clutch went first. Whats that tell ya! Turboblue offers a nice shift kit for them to convert it to a standard nosecone style shifting arrangement. I will say that the 4:83 R & P is not to my liking. 1st and 2nd gears allways feel like I'm in between were I need to be. Try and find one with a 4:57 R & P. or use 35" diameter Boggers.

I dont know however Turboblue will be able to answer that one for you. Because your running the 35" Boggers I would go with the more common 4:83 or 4:86. like I have. I would think they would give just the right Ratios with a stock trans.

If its not far from you I would jump on it for 300 bucks. You could make your money back on parts and scrap the rest
