The unit has a little slack,,,that added to the existing slack is more than double the previous slack. The "does not return to center" effect is worse now because you have to steer back to center,,,,plus the slack. I do like the less effort factor. I should hold criticisms till after the hill climb. Like most other things,,,it takes some getting used too.....The Jury's still out :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :|

Took out some of my existing slack, and went for another test drive down a Knarly ditch...Loved the 0 feedback,,,got out a lot of the slack,,,,I'm getting used to it already,,, what say Jury?

OK,,after hitting the trails and hills this weekend at Wilborns,,the jury has found in favor of the Char lynn,,I absolutely love the ZERO feedback. , No and I mean No snatching of the wheel. It became fun to steer over any and all terrain . It is more of a super duper steering stabilizer than even 2 big shocks ...I will keep it :wink:

how is it on the pavement. I'm building a rail for my dad to run the roads and have one of those units mounted but havent run the car yet???

I'm no expert but I'm guessing it would take some getting used to. I think buggys are easy to steer by nature on pavement. It's the extreme terrains where the Char Lynn shines... my .o2$

I think a street buggy would steer good enough without power steering
