I am also going to be there for the event, along with my buggy this time. With the buggy in tow. But yeah Rock we refer to ourselfs as groups up here. As enlightened Northeners we don't refer to ourselves as the KLAN to often.
But hey you guys drove up to ride with us so here we come.

What do yall think of these classes
3 rib only
5 and 6 rib
open class

The open class will pay the most money, and each class will run on seperate sections of the new hill like this
3 rib the easiest route
5 and 6 rib harder
open class the hardest way up the hill
I know they are some concerns with people running built 3 ribs, thats something we will address if we run across it,this has been a very hard subject to figure out,and Iam not sure there is a way without teching motors and we are not going to do that, all I can say is dont get caught trying to cheat

Hey SharpShooter,

I think you have a great idea setting up the three different classes. I really hope good intentions do not go bad. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to please everyone and account for every option.

As for my thoughts.... Maybe you should just let people sign up for whatever category they are comfortable running and set the pay out appropriately. A little for the easiest..... More for the difficult .... A lot for the Open Class. However, I would limit each buggy to only sign up for one category.

Yes... It is possible that some looser with a 300 HP might sign-up for the easiest hill and win. Oh well... If he is signing up for the easiest hill he is probably not that confident anyway.

Since this will be my first time running the buggy, I would love to sign up for the easy hill but I am sure Dakota will kick my A$$.. . Unless he runs the difficult or open class...

i like that idea its what would make the drivers more confedent if they do good on the easy hill they can sigh up for harder

Doubt he comes down but a friend of mine runs a 3-rib with a dual 48IDF equipped 2442.
Climbs everything in 2nd with some vicious wheelspeed...........
Most 3 rib guys would have trouble keeping up with that.
