I did!!! I told him he had it priced about 20k to high this is what he wrote back.

"well i guess you have not looked at the pictures very well. all of the ones that are 25,000 less have no; trunk, stereo, dashboard, full gauge cluster, alarm, neons, running lights, rear view mirror, powder coat, horn, turn signals, steal belly pan, lexan windshield, windshield wiper, fully adjustable seats, five point harnesses, A TITLE SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS BUGGY THAT HAS BEEN ISSUED BY THE STATE OF OHIO (other buggies are registered illegaly as voltswagon bugs, and are not a problem until you get into an accident with them and go to jail over your illegaly registerd and un insured vehicle) and a bunch of other stuff i i wont bother listing for you since you are obviously not interested it. It is all of these items that make this an unforgetable, award winning buggy and the others just $5,000.00 pieces of shit. However, I do feel compelled to tell you that if you think it is overpriced your are more then welcome not to bid on it.

Thank you for your time.

P.S. As some one who has many years of experience "

I wrote him back and I have not gotten a response back yet.

I must say.....he does have a good point. If you dont think it worth it then don't bid on it! I get tired of people
saying that my stuff is way overpriced.....and I tell them the same thing, don't buy it then. You got to admit, he does have alot of money invested in this thing, not counting the time if he did all the work his self. We all know hes not gonna sell it for that but if hes not in a bind to sell it, then he probably don't care whether it sells or not. If someone was trying to buy something I didnt really want to sell, I too would price it high because I don't want to sell it. I see rolling chassis's for sale at Lansing for $20K-$30k and I think thats retarted but they sell them.

the sad thing is he probably payed some one 30'000 dollars to build that for him. When any of us could have built it for less than 10,000. I like how he puts emphasis on the trunk and the windshield wiper but has nothing about the motor or transmission

usually one area to put a bit of money would be custom rear arms and front end... but like the valve covers...all stock, ok aftermarket chrome "get ya home" valve covers. I wouldn't typically say much with my run down buggy, but I wouldn't try to abuse any ones wallet with the sale of mine.

I don't know about Ohio but in Michigan Lexan is not legal for a windshield it has to be DOT safety glass.
