The trailer looks good. I need to paint mine. I should have had you to check it out while we were at turkey. You will enjoy the trailer. Alot less weight than pulling around a 16 footer. Have a good time at D & K. We will have to ride together again soon.

Thanks for the kind words! I'll get some empty pics this weekend for y'all. The only thing I would change so far is to put stretched steel on the runners instead of wood. I wanted to do the steel anyway, but was running short on time and money $$$. The wood looks good and 5/4 decking is only $4.79/10ft at Lowes. I might change it in a couple years when the wood starts getting crappy.

Hey Woody, we will definitely ride Turkey bay again soon. My other trailer is an 18ft, so yeah, should save me a little gas money pulling it. I need to pinch pennys wherever possible, Red Lightning here is $5.98/gal...!

I'll have another trailer for sale soon. It's another one I built a few years ago. 13x6-2, perfect for two 4wheelers, or 3 if you put them on sideways. It's got tandom 5200lb torsion axles, ramps, good lights, steel deck, straight fenders, pulls awesome. It's just to narrow for a buggy. It's hauled my baja, a bobcat, a ford 8n tractor, 4wheelers...tough little trailer. I should've just put this in the for sale thread! I'll post it there soon. I need to clean it up and get more pics. These are all I could find right now.

I know this is a little late in the thread for this but maybe it will be useful. I have used both Afterburnt and GuyP's t trailers. Both of the the buggy tires are in line with the t trailer tires and both towed perfect. (s10 blazer towing). I read on pirate4x4.com that ideally you want 10% of the total trailer and load weigh on the hitch. For example 5000 pound loaded trailer 500 pound on the tounge (sp?) This can be figured out by having 500 pounds of your buddy's sit on the back of your tow vehicle and measuring the distance to the ground. Based on my experience this is a really good rule go go off of.
I have the trailer of death. which is a boat trailer that was converted to a car trailer and was often overloaded with a s 10 blazer before I got a buggy. The hydraulic brakes are deadly. The work when they want to. Also those "bearing buddy's" that keep a constant pressure of grease on your bearings, are also deadly. Because when you wheel seals go out those things fill your brake drum full of grease.
Hopefully someone will find this use full.

Just saw this thread. Good looking trailer man, you finished it! If I ever get my buggy done I'm gonna have to find me one or build one too.

Thanks Pat, here's some empty shots for those who asked. Sorry it took so long, I've been gone enjoying a vacation on the Carolina coast. Been thinking about mounting the spare tire right where it's sitting in the pics. Also, I found another drop axle. The kind that bolts on. I might be building another trailer sometime if anyone is interested...

Price... Hmmm...
Are you interested in this one? Or another one? What's your wheelbase? My buggy is 101" (2x3's) and you see how it rides. You could safely go another few inches on this one if needed. Fenders? Lights? Title?
My other drop axle is still in NC at my brother's. I'm guessing it'll be at least 6 months before I get it here. I wasn't intending to sell this one, but as you know, everything is for sale. I don't even know what it's worth or what they go for.
What'll ya give fur it???
