 Post subject: CRANK CASE PREASURE

Yo i have a 2276 and i am getting alot of crank case preasure and it was forceing oil out of the head studs we did a compression test nothing wrong there tore the motor back down and found nothing the motor has stock heads for now and 1.5 header has anyone else have this problem any insight would help for now i am going to put a big breather up high so this dont happen again thanks

did you check the detents -- sounds to me like you might have a plunger sticking

on the bottom of the motor there are 2 round flathead screw looking plugs -- these are oil detention springs-- unscew the cap -- inside is a spring and a plunger ( these have to work freely to regulate oil pressure ) . Sometimes the plunger sticks inside at the top which creates high oil pressure -- i actually blew oil lines and my external filter up when mine stuck

If the plunger is stuck in the motor thread a tap into the bottom of it and pull it out -- clean it up with emory cloth lightly and try it back in the hole -- make sure it works freely up and down and reassemble or replace
