Ok got a few questions. I know how I like mine but I want to know what you guys think.
I prefer a very soft low riding buggy. It sucks on the rocky paths because not much ground clearance but I personally think that it digs better the softer it gets. I usually set my torsions to 30 degrees then jack my adjusters halfway in, thats with 2x3 arms, motor and trans moved back 1.5 inches, and stock 22mm long torsions. My car setup this way get amazing traction. Also ripped 1 leaf out of the frontend.
We are trying to figure out on my buddys rail how to tune his suspension a bit better. Will more traction come from the motor and trans being spaced back, or lowering the car? He has 28mm short bars in it now, those are coming out this week and we are going to put long 22mm setup back on it. His car is to stiff on rebound the stiff torsion bars want to spring the car back up. Just looking for ideas to get his car hooked a bit better. I have lots of stuff in mind on what I would like to change on it maybe get some opinions from you guys.
His car is Berrian with 3x3 arms, fox 2.0 shocks (around 250psi in them), 33 inch boggers, 2180 with 6rib.
Thanks for anything ya got to say. We might just try and do it all ie move the motor, long bars, lower the car, less/more pressure in shocks, more tire cuts.
