If the seats are bad, what are the chances of both of them going at the same time? I think before I tear into the carbs, I'll get a fuel pressure gage and check my pressure. Now if I need a regulator, what is a good regulator that goes down to about 3 pounds? I was going to buy the MSD offroad ignition box, but those things are $250, then you have to buy the rev limiter box, which is another $150. Then you have to buy the rev limiter chips and a kit which is $70. So what I ended up with was a Summit offroad ignition box, it has the rev limiter built in. These are digital, not analog, like the MSD box. The price was still about $250. Where is a good place to put the ignition boxes? How much water and mud can thiese things handle? The instructions said they are completely sealed in appoxy and not to put it into another box so that way they can dry out. But the rev limiter dials are kind of exposed. I'm thinking about putting it under my roof. But I don't like it being so close to my head. Where do you guys put them?
MSD makes a digital ignition box, it is a Digital 6 Plus and that is what I am running, it has all of the dials on the side of it to adjust your rev limit and other goodies. I mounted mine inside an ammo box, it works perfect for a ignition box, you should get ammo boxes for anywhere for $10-$15 a box depending on the size. It has to work great because how does the military keep their ammo dry?
