I've been a couple times on quads, but not in the buggy. It is a fun place to ride, but alot of rocks in places. Willie is right, that place is huge! Get a map, alot of trails are too narrow for buggies. Watch for traffic! Whenever I was there, so was everyone else... and their brother.

I went a few years back on the 4th of July. MISTAKE. Steve is right, some of the trails are way to narrow for buggies, let alone buggies try to go in and out. IT WAS AWFUL. I've heard if your not there on a holiday and know your way around it a decent play to ride. Good Luck, I think you'll need it if you go on the 4th.

hey chaindrive,if u take ur buggy try and hit cream puff, and get video.it is when u go in on the evarts side i think it is about the 3rd cut of to the left after pinball and the waterfall well actually right next to the waterfall.

It is true that you can drive all over Evarts with any vehicle, tagged or not. (Dont be obviously drunk or let them see you drinkin, or they will ticket you and make you park the vehicle). The people in town are SUPER nice, and we even had a guy who lived there volunteer to ride back to Harlen (20 minutes or so each way ) get us a part and he brought it back and he wouldnt take a nickel. Just said, "make sure y'all come back". The Trailhead in Evarts takes you into Little Black Mntn. Trails. They are mapped real nice and most are plenty wide, but they are about a 2 on a scale of 10 for fun and difficulty. Some REAL nice lookouts and stuff, though. We went back with Jeeps and I had a better time because it seemed a little more challenging (not a lot). Not really an ideal place for hell-raising in a buggy. More like a scenic tour.

Willie and Tim went down there and instead of Evarts they went around to another place from Harlen. Didnt even get on the road that runs thru Ages and Evarts and all that. They said the trails were WAY nore challenging and fun on the mountain they rode, not Little Black.

It is a cool place, and since you already are committed, go have fun, but if I could help it, I dont think I'd miss the 4th at D&K this year if you paid for my food, beer, and fuel to ride Little Blk Mntn.

I wouldn't mind riding with yall again. I've heard nothing but good about the place and was told to take a quad the first ride to learn the place a little before I take my buggy. I've heard the crowds were unreal and yall know how much I love crowds.

If your going to Black Mnt. to do some hillclimbing, then you are wasting your time and gas.I havn't been there for a few years but the trails where realy mild.It is a great place to take the wife and kids, but if you like to climb then D and K is your best bet.JMO.
