i have a stock 6 rib and i dont think i have a prayer against the built transmissions.it was proved to me in the last hillclimb.ill be there for the next one but with no class for stock trannys i think ill just watch.

Sure you have a chance! I ran in the last hillclimb with a stock 6-rib and did great! There were alot of people who did too!

That's exactly right.

I DO have a built tranny, and I still DONT really stand a chance to win. I got the equipment, but not the skills, ...yet.
But,
IT DOESNT MATTER, JABRONI!!

All that matters is you give 'er hell and have fun !!
If you do that , then you achieved the goal.

I still feel stupid about backing out from AL comp., even though I had good reason to.
The only time I feel like a loser is when I dont try.

All I have is a super dif. I figure the only way I will ever win is if all the one's with the bigger motors and built trans. all break down. What do you think those chances are. I enter for the fun and to support our sport. If we all take the attitude that there's no need in entering because we can't win, we may as well forget about the competitions. I for one don't want that to happen because I have way too much fun at these things and who knows one day I might just win. So come on hawg38, bring it on let's have some FUN.

Its not that i dont want to support our sport.all im saying is it would be a lot more fun if i thought i had a chance to win.i just dont think i can beat the hi gear trans. i think its great that people have the money for the big transmissions.i just dont and i know i cant run with them.ill be at the hill climb and ill probably be in it but i was just saying i know i cant beat them.i was in the last one.
i just thought this site was a place to voice our opinions.that was mine and you guys sound like im a trator.im all for the hillclimbs and they are fun.i hope darrell has a lot of then.and i will follow any rule he has and i thank darrell for giving us a place to do things like ride and poker runs and hillclimbs .i didnt mean to offend anyone.just my opinion.guess i was wrong

The way i see it is,us little guys make those big guys spend there money to keep up with us,because we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.They are pretty fast though,LOL
