Can I remove this cover without springing anything? They are bad rusted I just want to take them off and paint em black. Never had one off so I don't wanna take a chance of screwin something up.

Taking them of is easy and you won't hurt anything. But if you look at the pic the upper right that is touching the yellow tube "spring plate" is always a little tricky getting them back on, usualy 3 holes will line up and the 4th is a b!tch. Take your time and you may need to finess the it and the spring plate to get all the bolts in.
