Looking good. Glad to hear it ran well out of the box. Just some fine tuning left. Are you running race or AV gas with the 02 sensor?

Wow that thing looks cool. The part of the buggy i can see in the pics looks like you're a detail man! Very nice. Do you have pics of the rest of your buggy posted anywhere?

I run 93 octane pump gas. Always have. It's not a race motor by any means but it has gobs of low end torque. That's the way I designed it. It has more torque than horsepower.

There should be some somewhere. Maybe when the site first started. Look in the old sections.

I will post my Dyno results next week. I will scan the graph and post it. I know it has the same at 5250, of course it does. I was talking about peak torque vs. peak HP. With the carbs it made 135 torque at 3,200 and 115HP at 5500.

Well the torque and horsepower curves no longer cross at 5250, they now cross at 4500. Torque is up 5 and horsepower is up about 15. Still more tuning to do but it is about 95% complete. I am very happy with it and could easily leave it alone from this point. I am not satisfied unless it is perfect so more adjustments will be necessary. Did 2 hours on the Dyno last night and ran out of time. Drove it at my shop after work today and it is really close. Runs like a champ.

Roy, Are the torque numbers higher in the off idle to 3000 rpm range? If so, that would prove better drive ability in the woods and more horsepower on the top side hill climbing. I run 48 trijet dellorto's. I am thinking of running mechanical injection. P.S. Could you post the dyno charts for carbs and injection.

Well, after quite a bit of tuning in the dirt (real world) and finally programming my timing curves into the computer, my buggy is running perfect. It has never ran this good. I can't wait to take it to Wellsville.
