It was a wet poker run 3/15/08 but we still had a blast if you did not come you missed a great time. Lots of food fun and games. There was about 35 to 40 buggys jeeps and 4wheelers there, and a good time was had by all.

Thanks to Tim at Southern Buggys for all the great food and $500.00 in prize money. He has great prices on everything so check him out.

Thanks to Darrell and Kathleen at D&K for hosting such great events. Keep checking their web site out there will be more events to come.

Thanks, Gizmo, for letting us come down and play!!

And thanks to Tim for the awesome chili and soup beans!!

Me and kyjr.buggy had a great time. Even though we never went further than the playground!! The people who are at D&K make it fun even if you dont come to ride!

The best part was getting to meet Pipedope, Bad VW, and ky-bc!! Super nice guys and very sharp lookin' buggies!!

Got justa couple sorry little clips of video. Will try to post when I get a chance.

Hope somebody filmed the improptu uphill drag racing! That was pretty fun!

Thanks for bringin the diff to me Bruce!

(Next time I'll bring better ramps if I use that little enclosed trailer! )

Larry

A big old thanks goes out to all who were involved in putting together the Poker Run and good food. Had a great time playing and meeting some new folks. Nice to meet you Pipedope, BaddVW and everyone else. Hope to see all of you at the next Poker Run. Hopefully we will have good weather. Yea Larry I think that would be a good idea, it only took how many of us to figure out how to get it unstuck. Good thing Charlie came around when he did. He's so smart.

Wish I could have made it. Was planning on going but wasn't in the cards. (pun intended)

I was gonna oogle everybody's buggy since mine isn't running yet LOL. Sounded like it was big fun.
