Well I have finally got caught and have the flu. The school here have been cosed due to illness and many other counties around us too. So how many of you guys are fighting this crap too? Little man has had it already and hope he doesn't get a second dose of it. Been taking Theraflu and some other cold medicine.

It's been everywhere up here the last month or two. The theraflu seems to work but nothing cures it. Drink lots of water and see a doctor.

had it a couple weeks a go, glad to see it go! hopefully youll make a quick recovery, it didnt seem to last more thn a few days really!

So do flu shots really work? Or a waste of time?

i saw a thing on tv the other night that said that they screwed up somehow this year and missed the strain-- they modify the syrum from year to year. It said they were going to start from scratch for next year

This years flu mist/shot is only 40% potent. 7 states have schools closed due to illness. My sons school has been closed the last half of last week and talking about being closed tomorrow too. I wish everyone the best and hope you don't get this crap its hell to get over it.
