REMINDER....all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies tomorrow and you will start to receive sale calls.

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:

888-382-1222.

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.
It take about 20 seconds.

if you are getting calls on your cell--it was explained to me like this.

at some point in time when you filled out papers and they ask for phone numbers, you put down your cell # ( it could be something as simple as getting your car worked on--you give em your cell # to call you when its done )
They enter the number in their system, later they sell their list to telemarketers--thats when you get the calls. If you tell them its a cell they're not supposed to call anymore.

I hadn't heard of a deadline on this but I learned of the National DO NOT CALL LIST from a personal experience with a telemarketer. I had been receiving telemarketer calls on my cell phone for about a month and the last one I received I told them to take me off their list and they told me I would need to go register with the National DO NOT CALL LIST. I did and so far I haven't received any more telemarketers calls.

Does this work on house phone too?
