I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem, but over the last month or so I have had several solicitors call my cell phone. Today I waited patiently for a person to get on the line and ask them to take my cell no off their calling list. She gave me a web site to get on the National No Call List. Now we will see if it works. My luck I'll probably get twice as many. Here's the site if you want to put your numbers in.

no it actually works. its a government program.

but....technically they are not allowed to even call cell phones. if you tell this that its a cell phone number they are "supposed" to remove it instantly from their list.

I understand there is another clause stating that if you have done business with the company represented by the telemarketer in the past they don't have to remove you from there list unless requested. We have been on the do not call list for a year or two and still get some calls. I just don't answer half the time. Caller ID=priceless!

last summer we were outside and someone kept calling our home phone a telemarketer or somethin well after the 4 or 5th time it quit ringing for a while then they called our cell phone how they got the number beats me but they got their asses reamed out bad on that one never had a call from them again

You can also call this number.....888-382-1222. I did a long time ago. It takes about 30 days before they stop calling, but I have not had a marketing call since.....Not one.
