I use the torpedo style heater run on propane. I got a scare once running our propane fork lift for about 2 minutes with the doors shut. Let just say I turned white and puked in the grass. Carbon Monoxide is nothing to mess with, anytime you burn any fuel get a detector! I plan to add an electric heater this summer. No smell, no carbon monoxide, quiet, and easy to install. Our shop is only 24x36 with 10' ceilings so it won't really take much to heat it. We have insulated everything well including the garage doors so it shouldn't be bad, hopefully!

well i have a really good size shop and i really dont like this heater i want one that is not loud here is my shop kinda hard to c



any info on a good heater for it

This is what I heat my 30 x 40 shop with and it works excellent there about $70 bucks at lowes and run on propane,I have run it everyday for 4 hours or better and a tank lasted me three weeks and it`s QUIET!!It will keep it 65 on low when it was 10 degrees out.
