Well I finally got to the body panels, what a pain! I finished the side panels, roof, partial hood and dash. The dash gets a lot more work since I haven't gotten the switches or indicator lights mounted. The light bar still needs the rear support struts fabbed up. The HID lights came from Arizona. They were originally sold at Kragen Auto Parts but have been discontinued. A few dealers out west are still stocking them at $109 each. HID's can't usually be touched for less than $300 each. The Lowrance GPS in the middle of the dash is color and more of a straight line GPS, meaning its perfect for off road. Yes I get lost easily but more importantly it will be used as a speedo to be street legal.

Here it is without the light bar.

Actually it started out as a custom ordered Beeline frame but didn't work out quite like I wanted so I cut it up and basically made my own. I reused the floor portion from the original frame and bent my own from there. Yes its basically modeled after the stalker.

Hey flipit, I have used Larry's and Drew's for a lot of parts on my last rail. I have ordered most of the parts on the internet since a lot of them are pretty specialty type parts. I made the frame, beam, suspension, trans mounts and most everything else. Since I'm water cooled a lot of parts came from Jegs and Summit Racing. I need parts that neither Drew's or Larry's carry like radiator, overflow tank, EFI fuel pump and filter etc. I really like both places and hope Larry's makes it, they always seem to be struggling. There is a ton of knowledge at that place.

The DVD player would be nice I have one in my truck that I use with a backup camera. Never even put a DVD in it! The radio next to the wheel is a CD player, the face flips down. Everything on it is sealed and is meant for marine use to keep water out. I have marine speakers that will mount behind the seats. I spent a couple years gathering parts and building to keep the cost a little easier to swallow. Hey Flipit I lived in Galloway for a year when I was working in Columbus. I live in Glenchester Lakes apartments. Columbus is taking you guys over you'll end up in London or Springfield before long! Thanks for the compliments it keeps me motivated. I'm thinking gloss black frame and brushed alluminum panels, what do you think? Hey DVS1 the HID's were $456 shipped for all four.
