That's awesome Dean, you lucky dog! I always wanted to go to Glamis. I have some friends in Ca that go every year. I used to look through all their pics and always wanted to go see it in person.

Here's a short video of a trophy truck. My good buddy is part of the chase team for them and I also know the driver. Not the guy driving in the video, but the actual race driver. They keep trying to get me to come out to a race and ride in one of the chase trucks. I haven't been able to yet, but some day I will. The driver has (had?) a kickass rail buggy he used to race. It's got a 2.8 liter (I think) outboard boat engine on it. I have a few pics of it somewhere, but they'll need to be scanned and that's only if I can find them. It's been a few years since I've seen the rail and to be honest I'm not sure if he still has it. It was definitely one of a kind and definitely badass! It was featured in HotVW's in the early 90's, but that was before he put the outboard engine on it.

We're going to Glamis in April, we're going to rent quads for a couple of days. Been wanting to go there since I was a kid, actually doing it, finally! It seems like its all wheelies and going fast, but, gotta try it once!
