Any computer geeks (I mean that as a complement :D ) out there that can tell me how to shrink a pic small enough to use as an avatar?? The homepage pic is me. It was emailed to me and it came thru HUGE! I want to make it my avatar. Tried to open it with paint and went to stretch/skew and reduced it to 10 %, and its still like 33 KB. Then I saved that pic and opened in my HP photo editing software and reduced the pixels to something like 89 x 119 and resaved. Still too big for an avatar! Also cropped it in HP and paint. Now what? Just cant be done?

Just thought of something. Wonder if I right click on the pic on the actual homepage and try to save under another filename, then start chopping on it?? Will try when I get home.

Thanks,Larry

I did mine on one of those free resizing sites and then re-saved it. Google search for free photo re-sizing or some crap, I can't remember which one I used.

Will_545, it still says it is too many KB when I submit it as my avatar. Thanks for trying. Guess I'll try one of those resizing sites Blake was talking about :?

If you have a photobucket.com account when you go to upload your photos above browse it says image size click on that then it will ask you several different sizes click on avatar and what ever pics you load will be avatar size make sure when you load pics next time you change back to whatever size you want its easy, hell I figured it out on my own!
