with the way things are going now in the US what do you all do? are your jobs in trouble or are you busy as hell at work. Here in ohio seems shitty.

i'll start. i am a network engineer specializing in Cisco, Sonicwall, Unix, and Windows. I mainly do security for businesses and I handle all their network needs from routers, firewalls, security, websites hosting and design, custom computer design.

I have been doing this for 13 years now and have been at my current job for going on 8 years.

It seems everyone I talk to about ANY business is just slow and no work. We are feeling that right now sitting here nothing to do.

any computer questions feel free to ask :)

Economy cycles. If you look back at the last 50 years you will see that that are many up and down turns in the economy. Basically weather the storm and hope for a better up turn.

I have been on disability for the past 9 years now. I took that time and tried to improve myself and went back to college. I graduated in August from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I have been job hunting since August in hopes of returning to the job force. Right now there isn't many jobs out there because of the economy. Maybe I can make it till after the elections are over and things get back on track. At least I am hopeful for that.
Stock market taking a 400 point dump this morning was scary.

Jeff, the only advise if you will take it is to study as hard as you can and learn everything that your brain will hold. You have a great chance with that help and on hands learning. I wish you luck.

I have been thinking of getting my airbrush equipment out and doing T-Shirts at Gatlinburg and the fake tattoos. Think I could make a few dollars that way.

I work at Mill's Pride as an Electrician, been there for almost 10 years total, 7 years as an Electrician. I am currently in the hiring process of getting on Suncoke in Haver Hill as a Maintenance Mechanic, I am waiting on the results of my physical and drug screening that I went through today. Other than working at the crap hole that I am at now, I work on fabricating various items involving buggies and/or 4x4 rigs in my garage.

You know, we are all a bunch of smart-ass-buggy-riding-brothern, but this thread may actually take a turn for the better. Knowing what each other does, we may be able to help each other find better jobs or more business.......

With that being said, I have been looking for work at various dancing girl clubs as a consultant. If anyone knows of anything, I have a lengthy resume from all over the world with the slap marks to prove it.

Please send all information to dancinggirlconsultant@wannabe.com. Or just let me know if the closest club near you needs me to pay them a visit.

Chris

PS-big girl club inquiries need to be sent to curt@chaindriverails.com.
