Im 6'5" and got tired of my legs being crammed up with my pedals mounted where they were so i decided to fix me another set and move them out. The master cylinder was leaking so i decided to use a Jeep master cylinder that i had extra for my CJ. This worked out good in a couple different ways, my legs are not crammed up any more and the pedals are far enough from the seat that my brother cant reach them and drive my buggy. Anyway, this may not impress a lot of you but i was just glad it worked.

Friend of mine is 6'9" and used the mount plate so he can move the pedals to different positions. I can understand what you mean about being crammed. I drove a good friends buggy that is shorter than I am and I was hurting after about 10 minutes of driving it.
