Tell me what you think. Is this a high rpm to get torque motor?

2332 bugpack forged wedgemated crank with 411 mains and a 12lb flywheel, eagle hbeam rods with porsche journals. arp 2000 bolts, 94b cimas,
superflow heads by Steve Tims with 46x38 valves with K800 springs and titanium
retainers,fk89 cam with magnum gears and autocraft 1.4 rockers,tapered pushrods
scat lifters, a 1.5 qt oil sump,1 3/4 header with a 3" magnaflow muffler. 48 ida webers. case is a duel relief injection model with full flow and it has been cut for a sand seal. Also have a 912 cooling setup i might let go with it.

2332's rock. mine is a torque monster with vw rods. my buddy has one with longer rods and it likes to be rode like a 2 stroke high rpm makin power. his i would say is 4000-7000 power and mine is 2000-5000 power.

You want a torque monster go 2500cc then you will see what torque is!All you should need is a bigger crank,might as well do it the first time so your`e not kickin yourself in the ass later!

Don't buy Porsche jouirnal rods, get the Buick (Chevy)
Skip the 911 cooling system too IMHO.

Put it all in a new case.
With that parts list, I wouldn't skip a good foundation.

I would imagine this combo would be ALL upstairs.
Would be killer in sand or street!! but unresponsive and "peaky" for woods ridin.

Personally I feel that Superflo heads and really large valves are not good for the type of riding we do. They will not give you the velocity in the ports you need for the RPM range we use most. Power will come on around 4000 RPM and up. I would think the largest I would go would be a set of Street eliminaters with 44 X 37 valves. They have smaller ports. Even they are a little on the large size.

The motor you just described is a drag racing motor. If you put that in your buggy you will hate it. I know your style and you will not like the powerband it will give you. If you want a bigger motor and need some advice, PM me and we will talk about it.

Roy is right on .I built that same motor to run in the sand wide open all the time .Later changed the cam to a engle 100 with 1.5 rockers with the low duration cam it was a tork monster
