The purple one looks like a good buggy , i like the frame it looks like it was made well . The reason people stand up the frame like that is so that when you roll over there less likely to fold on you. If you have it to raked back it collapses easy , u also need to look at cross bracing the more the better !!!!
Once again I think you will like a 2 seater more. Just my thoughts

Cuz it is very hard to take off and a waste of money. Powder is about the best thing u can shoot a buggy with very durable, don't worry about it being purple . The last person I saw laughing at me in a buggy I passed him on 2 wheels ... needless to say he wasn't laughing any more...

yes the price is a good deal but i think if he cant come down to 3500-4000 its gonna be too much because i lose around 500$ in rates for cad to usd$ and then 400$ for fuel

this one is cheaper but would it be as good or worth it for 2k less?
and since its less $$ i can personalize it and add other mods?

http://youngstown.craigslist.org/mcy/4725512095.html

thanks!

Yea il stick to ac! And yea but propane powered seems not the best. Cant refill everywhere. Im still debating in my head whether i should go 1 or 2 seater.

1 seater is better for weight and mudding hill climbs? I guess their less wide also? Which would help in the trails. Hard as hell to find though

2 seater their everywhere, can bring a friend and scare him ahah. Thats the only good point i see.

Thanks

I would not recommend a one seated either, like Jesse said same width at the wheels, and as soon as u get a one seater someone will wanna ride with u, and why would you rule out a buggy with a watercooled fuel injected motor.

I'm 24 and had a buggy for six years and I wish every day that there was someone to tell me from my start into buggy's to get a fuel injected engine buggy out of a modern car like a cobalt motor (ecotech)I wasted so much time and money on that ac stuff, don't get me wrong they are cool cause they weigh nothing and can build them up pretty good, but they can be pricy and time consuming to have. If u want one get one but unless u have seen the diifernce in person you cannot really compare. For someone like you that may not have a lot of VW resources near by it could be difficult to build a VW when it blows and yes when not if, its when. Only if its a small close to stock VW is it likely to be reliable, I'm sure many guys will argue with that and I'm sure there bug VW is but they can't argue that either they have lots of experience building them or had somebody good build it. I'm not trying to bash VW's there what got me into buggy's but if you wanna concentrate on riding and modifying you may be better off with a suburu or ecotech buggy. If you don't want to here my advise that's fine but ain't that why ur looking here. Good luck and keep a open mind don't get hung up on it being perfect remember half the fun is modifying it

Plus ur friends will want to ride and if it's a 1 seater they will expect to drive ....

you need to stop worrying quite so much about distance , and worry about getting a good buggy that fits ur needs/wants .. if you are that tight on cash u shouldn't be getting a buggy . Cuz I promise u will not be able to buy a 3k buggy and be done with it. U will be constantly pouring money into it.

I think that one or the red one u first looked at will be good for you.

If you cant fix it with a hammer it aint worth fixin!!!!

You should buy the chain drive the Jesse posted. It will climb ANYTHING, plenty of ground clearance with Power to spare, Reliable Motor and a buggy that has been built to last.
