Good looking buggy, by the way, that is a good idea on using that 12x12x6 weatherproof junction box for your water-sensitive electronic parts. Keep up with the good work.

It looks like the piman arm fit on the box. Its a nice clean install.

well i had to grind down the splined part on the box that the arm goes on then used a diamonded bit to put new splines on it b.c the v.w arm was jus a little smaller than the sami but it all worked out

That little piece goes on with the adapter.When you put the adapter on you will see where it goes. 8)

got some more progress done today (I wonder if i should be doing home work instead of working on the buggy) hahah

LOOK IN THE BOTTOM left corner of this pic the 4 pistons are VW and the other two i found in this old abandoned shed way up in the woods ther bout 40lbs a peice with the rod

that piece bolts on at the bottom of the motor and covers the gap between the adapter plate and the block. (but you knew that already :wink: )

that an 2004 or older? looks like the older style body with the old emblems on the tailgate and the plastic on the bottom rear behind the tire think its dark as hell and i can't tell haha. just asking i got a ford and like em. post some better shots

That's thing's lookin sweet. Is it a Warrior frame? If so, that's the same one I'm building and your bracing is definitely making it look like a new creature. :twisted:

it looks like you may weld i have a welder but am not familiar with all the stuff you can weld with it, here is my question i bought a 1 1/2" by 10' piece of conduit pipe to finish up the rest of my bracing i have a stick welder is that a weldable piece of pipe with just rods i know its a stupid question but do not know a whole lot about welding thanks for any answers

is it just not tough or what because i had bought it, cut it, and have it sitting in the buggy right now it would be the x bracing behind the seat

tanner did you cut you cut your shock towers of the front end i just noticed it i thought on doing this before but never got around to it yet because those shocks you have were the same ones i was looking at but didnt want to compress them to much to make them work on the stock tower if that one even came with the post to go through the top
