 Post subject: air compresor qustion

ok.. i am plannign to run air bags in the rear

i have a subie for power plant

if i leave the airconditioning on can i put an airfilter on the intake side and a T with a pop off valve and the other side of the T go to a small 3 gallon tank with a one way valve in the line

would this be enough to run my air bags off

run the intake side to the air cleaner, the pressure side to the tank with a pressure valve from an air compressor. the electric swith from air compressor to turn on the clutch. You will also need to drill and tap a plug on the side of compressor and put a grease fitting in it to grease lightly. It will work for a long time

I thought about doing that but opted for the easy way out with a dc compressor. About the same weight but the dc is slower I'm sure. Good luck tanner.
