Looking good. What are you using to strip the paint?

I have a Millermatic 250 but its kind of overkill. A buddy of mine has a millermatic 185 I think and its more than enough.

Go to the Dollar store and get a few cans of the cheap oven cleaner. Don't get Easy Off --it dosen't work as good as the cheap brand does. Spray it on - let it set for about thrirty minutes and then spray water on to rinse the paint off. Be careful with this stuff! -it will burn very bad! Don't spray in the wind! Works great. Mark

Not sure what he paid for the 185 but its not cheap. I did some CAD drawings for a fab shop and traded some laber and $600 for my 250. Ill give him a call and see what he paid.

I redid a four wheeler frame and used some stuff called aircraft stripper from Napa. Its nasty shit but it did a good job. All you do is paint it on, scrape the heavy parts then spray it off with a hose. You don't want to breath it or get it on you skin. I was reading the warning label the other day while i was cleaning the shop and it kind of scared me so if you use it BE CARE FULL.

Never thought about using Oven Cleaner before, I have some of the cheap stuff that I use on my truck chrome to clean off bugs and road grim. I will try it on the buggy since we want to repaint it. Going to wait until spring when it is warmer to paint it.
