If you can commit yourself to that big of a project at your age and finish it, you'll be able to do whatever you want when you get out in the work world. I'll bet your Dad is proud!

thanxs and i bet the wiring harns for an aircraft carrier would be more simple than this one ive read the manual to this motor twice and im on my third time and i think im begging to know what im doing lol. and yea my dads very proud of me... i just wish he would take some time and work on it with me ....i have been working on this for about a year but i think ill finish it for the hill climb in march i hope :?

alls i got left i think is mount the motor do the fuel system , wiring and brakes and clutch oh yea and the rear aibags when i get a little more money for the bags and trailing arms.... but thats about it aint it???

Even if Dad's not turning wrenches, it sounds like he is supporting you in other ways. Thats more than alot do, unfortunately. Just make him go riding w/ you once its done, and he'll be asking you to help him build one!!

Keep it up man. Don't rush it to get it done by any deadline. Stay on it. It will all be worth it.

Tanner, It was great meeting you and you dad at the Ga. Dome. Sorry I had to rush off. . I wanted to hang out more but I had payouts to do , and I was trying to find some of the competitors. Hope to see you in March or maybe even in Huntsville for the next competition. Don't rush anything (like green lights). :P

I would say that if you have enough room for good draw through fans it work ok. Dont for get that when the fans are not on the rad produces radiant heat. Right Mike. What year is the motor? I noticed the exhaust were single pipes. Mine are double pipes. Nice job on the pick up tube wish mine turned out that nice.

The fan will pull a lot of air. Just keep stuff back far enough from the front so air will pull through. Try to mount it low enough so you can see through the rear view mirror. I recomend that you have a rear view mirror. And watch out for sticks. 8)

well i think the merrow is manditory to be streat legal and yea ill watch out for the sticks while you watch out for the GREEN lights lol

just playing with ya there will be a next time

and i mean i want to mount it low, like under the the bar that my seatbelts hook to so the bottom of the radiator is mounted to the floor behind the seats
like the top of it would be about mid way up ur back behind the seats

Lookin good, but you should mount the rad to rubber for vibration and flex reasons.
