Sounds good , will try to set a date in a few weeks after we get a head count , they have some nice cabins with 2 sets of bunk beds , shower , microwave & fridge with heating & air for around 50 something including tax , they all have picnic tables & fire pits too , they bring you firewood from the office to your campsite for 5 dollars a bundle , or charlie can bring some ! Lol :D

There is a lot of schools in ala. That the staff & a lot of the kids or still stranded at , but they are letting them call home to check in with spouse's an parents a couple times a day & they r fixin breakfast , lunch & dinner for them til the roads r passible again , they have hundreds of national guard troops out since yesterday evening taking cots to the schools & looking for people stranded on all the main & backroads to try to get them to safety , hoping they can open roads by tommorw around here , its only 9 degrees here now & gonna just go to 31 degrees today , but tommorw will make 43 ! :shock::sad:

I removed one axle. Cleaned the CV's and started to race prep to only find out I didn't have any Swepco grease or honing stone. Well I'm finally walking again but still can't get anything done.:lol::lol:

Had something similar, went to order the special CV grease only to find out the firm has discontinued it, nooooo......

Fortunately one of their distributors reckons he has some old stock so we're buying it all

I finally found enough packing material to finish packing up all my ford 2.3 parts for iams1234. He's getting adapter plate, Kennedy flywheel, intake, turbo, manifold, piping, carb, fuel pump, FPR, and recleanable filter! Can't wait to hear it run!

I got both axles off and CV's cleaned. Now just waiting on the grease to come in. Its good to be able to walk again. Getting some things fixed. Slowly but surely.

I don't usually work on a/c's, but when I do, I romp and stomp like a raped ape! Had it line bored, thrust cut and crank ground on a locked up new 2180. Pressure washed it and got soaked. Spent $20 in gas looking for a washy quicky pressure washing place. Put $5 of quarters in it. Because few of us know to knock the oil pump shaft in snug! Is there anything else the world don't want us to know , so we can come crawling back to buy more? and yes, most of our frames do flex and give us a little more soft twist. The girders in buildings sway in earthquakes ,riveted Liberty ships lasted much longer than welded ships. Airplane wings on B52's flex 21 ft , because of riveted aluminum torque boxes and they've been flying since the 1950's. Let em breath. Dave out! Mike's turn lol

There's one big thing they're all missing.

Suspension.

There's also one big thing they're designed for when they twist, and that's no stress concentrations to overload and fatigue the steel, so they don't start to crack like yer frame.

While waiting on my CV grease to come in I went ahead and did some polishing on my CV's.
They looked fine but you could see where the balls been moving. Nothing could be felt. I just had the time.
