Congrats... That is awesome. Does this mean you can keep your buggy?

Yes the buggy can stay until the new chassis is built then it will be stripped and the frame will be sold.

Brought the buggy back this morning....11 hours after breakdown. Not the new steering but a stub axle. Oh well...you play you pay.

For the last month or so I've been staring at an empty case and parts laying everywhere I look. Worked my butt off the last 2 week's so hopefully I'll have enough money to get a crank to put this thing back together.

Took the wagon for a street ride, ran out of gas, some nice guys gave me a gallon got me to a station. We were out looking at houses to buy. Got some dirty looks from the wife at first but all is good.

I put the transaxle back together and reinstalled in the buggy after my lastest "fix". This is the 3rd time doing this lol, I'm tryin to make what I have hold up to my driving. But I've come to the realization that I'm going to have to spend the cash on the FNR transaxle made for my application. Heading to the woods to try it, figures crossed :)

Welded the upper and lower brackets to my limit straps. I also found out that limit straps stretch 1" per 12' of strap. That piece of information would have been nice when I ordered the straps. I also welded in drink holders in the back for the kids.

I welded more on my caliber bracket that got dragged off during the 5 mile dragging due to a broken axle stub.

I finished the limit straps and added a surge tank to the radiator. The loaded the buggy and headed north. This is my current view.
