After breaking two 930 joints in one day I decided to pull all, polish and repack with grease. I hate this shit but it's better than being drunk in the woods changing one on a hill.

And changing your rubber on trailing arms helps a lot also. Great time for someone to put type 3 torsion bars in aswell. And using a limit strap if needed.

Most CV failures in 930's result from over angle, failure to race prep (clearance) the joints, and failure to clock the CV. I have run 930's for 12 years on cars with 3x3 and 3x5 trailing arms and have never had a joint failure. I have broken 2nd gear but never a cv joint.

There was a how to on race prep of CV joints on this site. You want the CV to just about fall apart when it is dry.

No Jason I didn't pop the tranny, how dare you even say that.

I haven't broken a CV in a long time. I have straps and sway a way bars. I think they broke because my frame bent loosening the straps up. I can't believe the straps stretched more, they've been set for two years. I jacked my buggy up to check for bent stub axle and my axle pulled out of the CV. Something stretched or bent.

They are race prepped, clocked and pretty loose. If I pick up a dry one and tip it it will fall apart. The boot flange on two of them are bent and one is cracked. You can actually see where the balls hit the boot flange.

That is evidence that the CV is being pushed beyond its limits of angle and more than likely the source of your failure. There a several simple solutions one being limit straps or shorter limit straps or shim the nose of the transmission back 1/2" to reduce the angle on the cv.

Are they Lobro? The color makes them look like they're EMPI. Did you race prep them yet? If not I would race prep them and smooth the chips out. I have 2 spares that have chunks off the inner star, they'll be better than nothing.

These are lobro centers. I think the broken cage got in there and chewed shit up. I took 60 grit flap wheel and took the big chunks off then polished everything with 120 grit.
