My heart and soul go out to the Marks family. We lost a dear friend recently, Derek Marks. He is the brother of the founder of Woodsbuggy, Dean Marks. He has been part of Woodsbuggy since we started this site. Many of you have met him and I am sure you won't forget him as he was one of those people who would help anyone at anytime. My prayers go out to the Marks. God bless you!

Darek messed with my son for three days at wellsville and kept telling him he needed to change tires on a pit crew after helping firebug put his wheels back on. My son still laughs when he talks about that crazy guy that messed with him and scared him late one night acting like a bear was ripping through the tent, lol. Chad

Darek was a truely great person. I've known him since I've started buggying, and he was always the first guy to lend a hand in any situation. I remember when I had my dad drive me out past Mansfield to meet up with Darek and his family so he could GIVE me parts that I needed to finish building my first 1641. I feel privileged to have known a person like Darek, he was a true example of the comradery that exists in the buggy community. He will be greatly missed, and I look forward to getting to continue to ride buggies in the woods with Cyle!
