seen this on facebook and thought i'd share it! looks pretty cool to me! i might try to duplicate this one day with some junk parts, just clean em up and paint em to color of choice! dont think i'd put wheels on it though? unless i could find some mini v-treads, like off an rc car or something  Image

That's awesome for the man cave. I have a family room begging for something like that. Cool piece for sure and I'm a W/C guy.

years ago we made a TOP DOG of THE DAY trophy. It had a stripped out flywheel for a base with a broke in half crand with a bent rod and broke stub axle and cv shaft a couple of trans gears all welded to this thing. Busby won it and he kept it for years in his car trunk.

This is something we've talked about a few times. Pipedope wants to make a king of the hill trophy and you have to put it up for a challenge or forfeit it and it passes on from person to person.just keep adding names to it.if you want it put up a challenge and go have a all out day of climbing and bullshiting and who ever had the best day of it gets it until the next ride.could be pretty cool.I'd like to put my name on a trophy like that.then say if ya want it,come and get it,lol. Chad

Best use of an air cooled engine that I can think of, other than using it for an artificial reef or perhaps burning the case to light the hill we are trying to climb.

But on the serious side I think the AC VW engine was and is a marvel of mechanics. The last good VW had one in the trunk. Sorry Passat
