Just curious if others here can lift the front wheels from a stop. I can't seem to get it done. I have a 1915 w/ dual weber 44's and suppsosedly it has other good components but not sure as I just got this Buggy. I have a 3 Rib Bus Tranny. I've tried to get it to lift but it won't. I have no difficulty on the trails with any hill and always have more than enough power to climb them. I believe my buggy just squats when I nail it and the rear suspension is taking most of the power preventing the front from rising.
I guess my question is do others with 1915's easily lift the front end?

Hmmmm... This might just be me.. But wheelies are just asking to break something..

Here are my thoughts on the topic....
A woodsbuggy should not be able to do wheelies easily.. If you can, then your front end is to light. Do not compare your buggy to the California SandRails, those are super thin walled tubing with weak front beams.

If you are running a strong front beam with front brakes, your front end will be heavy.

If you have soft rear suspension, your will not be able to do a wheelie. The suspension will absorb a lot of the momentum.

You tires should spin.. If not, something is going to break.. Traction is good but buggies rely on wheel speed and RPM.

Again, these are just some of my thoughts..

Wheelies are cool but being at the top of
Hill is what it's all about
