I am building a 2332 and would like to see what everyone's thoughts are on the cam? I am running dual weber 40's with stock heads that are cut to 48cc's. I am gonna keep the compression ratio around 10:1 as close as possible. It will have a CB performance crank with CB performance 5.500 rods. I am putting the motor in a two seater that is used for trail riding and hill climbing. Any suggestions would be great. By the way I had a great time at the Haspin Hill Climb. Hope this is something that will be an every year thing.

You will get a bunch of opinions on this question, kinda like asking what's your favorite color, lol.a 110 cam is by far a most popular choice to use.good all around cam.are you running ratio rockers.I'm running dual 40's with super flow heads at 12.5/1 with 1.4 rockers with an fk42 cam and have been really pleased with it.also ran same at 10/1 with an fk7 cam for a few rides before it let go,but I thought it had a lot of low end myself.just thought I'd ad 2 cents for ya. Chad

Like gasman said .....everyone will tell you somthing different but the 110 works real good for a off the self cam .
I like a fk-43 with a 1.4 rocker also works real good .

I was sort of leaning towards the 110 or the C35 which are very similar from what I can see. What about the 120? Maybe this is a dumb question but why run higher ratio rockers? Why not just run a cam with more lift and solid rockers to accomplish the same thing?

If your going to run stock heads,no matter what cam you run its going to be choked by the heads. I would save some more money and get some heads.A Web-Cam 218 with 1.25 rockers would be a decent choice for now.

What trans and tires . With a 3rib you can run a biger cam like a w120 or fk 43 .With a 6 rib i would go smaller like w110 -c35 or fk42 .Save your $$ for some heads 042 -044 -s\e with dual springs and chomoly retainers. And porting makes the HP . Your stock heads will need cut for bore cut for dual spring retainers and they will still be stock small valve heads .

this is just me but i would run a engle 110 (ive ran it in a 1679 and im running it in a 2500 and liked it in both) with 1.25 or 1.4 rockers and regardless of how close the specs are on a scat c-35 they dont perform nothing like a engle 110, been there done that also (same everything with only a cam and lifter change), also i agree the stock heads will limit performance but if you put better heads on down the road then the cam is gonna be a limiting factor and the motor will have to be pulled and the case split just to change the cam

You can't go wrong with a Scat C-95 cam best all round cam out there. anything from 1835 up. I ran a custom grid that matched in a 2.8 type 4 Porsche 914 with Dell 48 duals power from 1500 to 7500 rpm.
