Was wondering everyone's opinion. My thermostat and linkage is missing but the veins at the bottom of the shroud are there. Should I ditch the veins or repair the thermostat or pin the veins in a certain spot?

Either everyone is riding or I ask stupid questions  just remember there are no stupid questions just stupid people :P trying to put my motor together while I'm out of welding gas. If anyone can chime in that would be great.

i think he is talking about the factory heater stuff on the shroud but ive never had any dealings with it so cant really offer any usable info other than none of my buggys have any of that stuff anywhere on it other than the stationary directional veins inside the shroud

If it's in a buggy, ditch them.
In a car, I would restore them for quicker heat.
