I built 2276 for a friend of mine we used a vz-25 and that thing flat runs we ride with guys with 2500s he runs better than some of them  SORRY GUYS. But you cant use 1.4 rockers on a vz cam just somthing to think about....But its a good cam.

Web-cam 86B on a 105 lobe center. I would put some new valve springs in after running the cam and rocker combo you have now. Are the heads ported?

300 advertised,260 @.050 .536" lift with a 1.4 rocker. It seems like a really big cam but the 105 lobe center will make a huge torque gain down low and still have plenty up top. Also woth the high compression he can get away with alot more cam and honestly it needs it to help bleed off a little cylinder pressure.

If the heads are not ported thats why you are lacking top end with your current combo more than the fact that the cam/rocker combo is all wrong. i would suggest getting the heads and intakes ported and see how it runs before splitting the case to do a cam swap. If you put a bigger cam in it now without port work it will probably run worse than it does now.

X2 Theres 2500 with 110 and fk43 &1.4 rockes that will run to 7000 with good heads. Peck HP is about 5600RPMs.

x3, mine will run 7,000 rpm with no problems and my heads are a killer set.....S/E ported and polished, 2500cc, 110 cam, 1.4:1 roller rockers.

I agree I have 3 motors and all 3 have a 110 cam in them with a good set of heads and they run good I have a set of s e heads that have all the port work that u can have done to them and they r alsome but the bad thing is with all that money spent on them a stock set of super flows will flow just as much I no they want cool as good but they will give u all the top end u need with bottom end to It will still turn 8 grand with the 110 cam

If I was going to change cams I would go with a vz 15 it will turn out of the frame but that is a lot of work when u can make the 110 do nearly the same
