Unfortunetly we could not make it to Wellsville. For that reason I have not said anything just read all the posts. As far as I'm concerned what I'm reading is a bunch of B.S. We have been to every hill climb except for Stoney and Wellsville. Every hill climb has had it's problems, which is normal. But it should in no way take away from all the hard work that a lot of people have put forth to make these events happen.
As a result of a bunch of crybabies and sh*t starters you have people like Firebug who in my opinion is the back bone of the series not wanting to be a part of it. That is wrong.
I think that any negative words spoken about Woodsbuggy or the hill climb series should be automatically moved to trash talk if not deleted. But deleting it would be wrong because everyone is entitled to their opinion.
It seems to me that the biggest part of sh*t starters and trash talkers are ones that don't attend the hill climbs but always seem to want to put their two cents in on it. Then you have drama that gets started.
I know it's fun to give each other a hard time on here but when it starts making certain people that are very important to this site and the climbs want to stay away from them or get out of it altogether, then that's when it's gone to far.
The people that comment that don't go to the climbs know who you are...no need to throw names out there.
Maybe if you got involved by competing or helping work the event your comments would be taken more seriously.
On another note anybody that knows Brian, aka Pipedope should know that he would not steal from a kid or anyone else for that matter. He asked on a couple of different occasions if the money was right and was told "Yes." Then he was called a cheat and a thief and bashed on open forum and made to look bad for no reason other than accepting the money that was given to him. If someone would have come to him earlier I'm sure he would have made a attempt to make it right. If I got dragged through the mud like he did I would keep it too.
So now we have Pipedope who has always been enthusiastic about Woodsbuggy that doesn't want to be a part of it anymore as a result of trash talkers.
I'm sure there are others that feel the same way as they do who are not posting. Wonder who's next on the list of people that are going to get bashed??? I wonder what the Sh*t starters/trash talkers real agenda is? Is it to hurt and destroy Woodsbuggy and the hill climb series out of spite? or just boredom because you have no life?
It would be a shame to allow these people to do what they appear to be doing...hurt the series. It appears there has been a on going feud between a few members for awhile now. Seems like it's time to let it go and move on to doing something more productive! And I'm not just talking about the feud between Pipedope and Rock Rockets. I'm talking about long before that too.
Buggies are buggies no matter what type they are. It's about getting in the woods having fun with great people and what made me want to get involved in this hobby/sport to begin with. Let's all go to the woods and play with our toys like good boys and girls should.
