WoW! Thats a first for me. Never seen a Hiem do that. Had the studs break off on the stud style but never had one peel like a Banana! Chromoly or Carbon steel joint?

Just stick another one on and tape two spares to the cage, at least you've got a weak link that just unscrews and replaces in 2 minutes if you do it again :lol:

To bad it bent the trailing arm were it attaches to the torsion bent the plate the heim screws in to, tweaked a fox shock and broke a cromoly 930 cv cage from binding up

With an inner and outer heim setup it may have been save-able. Then the inner could have rolled with it?

Run a short strap from the torsion housing to the arm. Joint breaks, strap holds it close enough to stop any more damage.

Might find you just snap the bolt with a chromoly joint with it being in single shear?
