Thanks Rock. You've got a lot more experience in it than i do. I'll try to get in touch with Mr. Burns. I know there is no set price on a CD because the sky's the limit but you've built a few. What's the ball park on an average CD build without motor cause the motor could range 400 to 4000. Too big a variable.

Very good question.I to would like to know what say like mr burns single seater would cost as a roller.Chad

800 bucks to convert if you suply the vanagon hubs and calipers. Then you have to get tires but you can find some bout wore out and bolt them and go like a crazy person

What all is involved in converting a normal buggy to baby chains? What does that $800 include and where would the buggy have to be hauled too?

Yeah I would love to see what $800 plus the vanagon parts would get someone? What would be the recommended engine and trans setup for this? I mean could it be ridden with something like my 1641 and 3 rib? What trans and motor is normally run with a chaindrive like we are talking about? I'm really more interested in the trans than motor setup

well ima run it with my 2221 and you can run a car trans and not break it i was told its best to use a high geared trans like the 456 and you climb in second and first is like a grany gear for creeping around i dont know if a 1641 has enough power or not he will have to come in and talk about that part and if he has some pictures of his wifes it was a converted one so it will give you a good look at what we will have if we do it

No luck yet. I guess Rock or Kevin T are the new go to guys in the chaindrive World. Mr. burns isn't building for the public any more.
