Me and some buddys belong to a private club that owns property in Eastern Indiana.
It's not real big but there are some nice trails and some gnarly hills.

One of the best parts is the camaraderie and the close knit group we've become.
It's about 35-40 minutes from my house.
I can slip over there and ride an afternoon and be home before the news comes on.

You can visit our clubs site at www.ei4w.com

Cool looking place. The way things are going the only way to have a place to ride soon will be to own it.

TWK is right, it seems like everywhere we ride is in jeopardy of being lost. I'm especially worried about wellsville.

We have a blast there.
Since it is private property, it's not ever crowded, nice facilities and clubhouse.
It's small, about 65-70 acres but challenging in places.
There is one hill we call "Wild Side" that's only been climbed twice since the club has owned that property.
That's about 30 years........

Does your club allow outsiders to come and ride? or is it totally private. Indiana is right next door to me

We as members are very limited in the number of guest we can bring in.
I'd have to get the bylaws out and see exactly how many.
I'm sure you would like to join after you ride once.
If you do that and fill out an application that day, it doesn't count against the number of guests a member can bring.
Then you can ride on the property till you a

What are the fees involved in being a member?

$75 a year and 2 work details.
Those consist of trail maintenance, upgrading the facilities, cutting downed trees for firewood and stuff like that.
Just a couple decent days of keeping the place up.
When you become a member you get keys to the place and can ride anytime you want as long as there are at least 2 vehicles.
Even through the week.

You been to Haspin Acres before?

No I've never been to Haspin Acres.. The only real place I've ridden in is wellsville, which is totally unregulated. If I journey out to your club this would be my first expierience with like a "riding club." It sounds pretty cool though, and Indiana is close to me, I might just have to get out there in the spring.
