i use a throttle cable       just kiddin! you can use any thin cable and rig it up somehow, personally mine runs thru a piece of 3/8 copper tube from by the peddle to back before the shroud then hooks up to a cb performance diffent kinda ,to hard to explain  but you should run it thru the shroud to keep the cable from being worn or gettin frayed. and i use copper cause it doesnt rust like brake lines do  which is another way of running it to the back! hope this helps

morse cable is a clean option buy it cut it to length and install with clamps along the center pipe of buggy floor. alittle costly but real effective and clean looking.

I'm using 3/8 hyd hard line lined with ice maker line in side so the cable will not rust and hang up. Been running it that way for 3 years with no problems.

Morse cables are nice and clean, but you can get some small plastic tubing run some small cable through it,or copper tbg. You can get the little boots off a ten speed cable and put on the ends to keep mud and water out.Chad

Morse cable hands down is better.
With other setups, when you get water and mud in the tube with your cable, it can freeze on a cold morning, leaving you with no throttle.
We've had that happen more than once.

I was running a Morse cable $$$ only problem was they are next to impossible to lubricate. After time they will stiffen up without lube. On my current project I will use plastic tubing with stainless cable. That way I can force oil through it to keep it lubed and since mine has a fiberglass body, water getting in shouldn't be a big issue.

Mine is 10 yrs old,and no problems yet.
I've never lubed it, but it does have rubber seals on each end.

I work at a truck fleet shop so mine is a stainless trailer roll door cable run thru air brake tubing . Already has a eyelet for the pedal end and cut it into with a welder at the carb end so it wont unravel
