To me Buggy of the Month or year etc should be of the Elite Buggys so why not then make BOTM, Buggy of the year (or Quarter) and add a member section and call it Members Show Case. I think that should satisfy everyone.

Sorry to single you out Mike, but buggies like yours, ody's and big scotts just to name a few really show more attention to detail then most of us have the budget, time or skills to pull off. Dont get me wrong, I love my buggy and its duribility where I can afford it or come up with a garage fix to beef it up, but it pales by comparison on pure craftsmanship and inginuity. We love to see builds like this so we can get ideas that we can tackle ourselves. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing on M-day 2013  Anytime between now and completion if I have an open seat you are more then welcome to be my cup holder. Now get some more work done so we can ooooo and ahhhhh some more at your build thread.

No problems here. I just wish this could have been an better example of how to build an off road car, not how to stir up sh*t.
Also worth noting. I think so far I've pulled off the grand illusion, this might appear to be a BIG dollar build. Including the purchase of the chassis, I have less than $1500 total invested so far. I have been collecting material like the aluminum blocks for quite a few years. (got them out of a scrap yard I use to work at)
Now if I would have had to buy all this, which would never happen, yes BIG dollar would be correct.
I have a few top secret parts made I will share later, so stay tuned.

Mike I just like anything outside the box. It stirs creative thoughts. And that to me is worth displaying.

All I will say mike is the first time I met you , i relized never just a book by it's cover . You came off as a very direct person which was fine by me but when I met you you was looking over my buggy as saw I lost my front shock bolts and I was just going to take it off but you walked to your buggy and got a new grade 8 bolt and nyloc nut and handed it to me and would not take a dime ! I new at that point I had met a good friend for life !
I love u man !

I know it's a build thread but when mike did a drive by on a guy that had screwed somebody on here out of some parts or money or whatever and posted a pic of his house I knew then he was a top notch guy.I still think of that from time to time and it always puts a smile on my face.Chad
