recently i was looking through the past buggies of the month, and noticed that you can only go back to November 09, am i doing something wrong or are they just trying to hide alot of the most awesome buggies of woodsbuggy? is there a way we can view the rest of the buggies?

Sorry.. That is all you can see. I believe that is when the website was recreated and I do not know of any previous BOTM information getting carried over.

Feel free to re-submit your buggy and maybe it will win again..

The past has been abandoned just like everything else that has made the site what it WAS.
Buggy of the month should be re-named to readers rides, that way any POS with 4 tires can be shown. Buggy Of The Month USE to be something to be proud of, not any more. I do understand that the quality of builds isn't there and the pickings are slim. But just to pick a POS for it brings down everyone's hard work.

What are you refering to as a POS. Everybuggy buggy that is posted in the BOTM is used and designed for different purposes. Some people could get pissed that their ride is refered to as a POS. I built my buggy in 3 months and think it turned out good, at least IMO. Its about dedication and heart, not about how much someone can spend and put into their ride.IMO

I have talked to DVS1 about the buggy of the month, numerous times. he says that he has a real hard time picking and getting buggies for buggy of the month. so maybe it might be time to change buggy of the month to all star buggy. that way you can have some of the great buggies that has been featured on buggy of the month and have the updates the owner has been doing since its been featured. and you also have a readers ride of the month. that way he can feature alot of the ordinary buggies. my idea of an all star buggy is a well engineered cleanly put together buggy. something that you can look at for hours and get ideas. that would be an all star buggy. a readers ride buggy would be something that you can go to the store and buy pieces and parts to put together to the best of the owners knowledge. we are all proud of what we build that is why there should be 2 different categories

I see were mike is coming from . There are some buggies that have some amazing workmanship in them and deserve every bit of the attention they get . The botm used to be some serous eye candy .
I think I will choose my words wisely so I will keep quite !
I think a readers rides would be A great idea and save the cream of the crop for a separate spread !
Make the cream of the crop buggies have to have build pics and all so it would be something to really read into and full specs !

I think it is bullshit when guys turn in their buggy and don't put any specs besides "VW", "stock", etc... Why even turn it in if you don't even take the time to share specs and stuff? I know Dave has a hard time even getting entries for it, soooo, maybe this will change that? IF we include SxS's we would have ALL kinds of entries! and they could all say "stock", "polaris", "gay", "4x4", "plastic", etc. etc.

I think a few of us could keep that calender filled for years, lol, and yes I am including myself. But I will also agree on the BOTM issue as far as a pan buggy on an old frame and everything is listed as stock. If none are worthy then none get listed that month and do a members rides with a few each month perhaps. Like mine could fit in a members rides but not BOTM material by my standards, and I even like my buggy and only the front torsions are stock lol. Just my opinion, no offence ment. Not like all of us have $10k - $20K to spend on a bad buggy.
