whats the best way and place to add/pumb in a oil temp sender without restricting oil flow ?

i thought about adding a "port" midway of the dry sump tank but was afraid some aluminum shavings would get in the bottom of the tank that i couldnt or might not get out :?

Put a tee where your oil pressure sending unit goes in the block,I'd think you would want a temp gauge closer to the block than the tank to get a good read on oil temp in engine.Chad

I put a "T" on the OUT line to the cooler. The thermal coupler only sticks into the passing line a 1/4". Running that way for 3yr.
