I have been doing research on cranks and I have come to the conclusion that most venders are selling the same China made Crankshafts weather it be from CIP1, CB Performance, Chirco etc. The best price I have found is CIP1. Here is the link:
http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp ... C13%2D8188

My qusetions is have any of you used them and if not why. Im sure your first answer will be dont buy China junk and my responce is, is just having piece of mind worth $700.00 for a SCAT or DPR.

This also applies to connecting Rods. I suspect places like CB Performance buy the China rods with there logo screen printed on them.

I've used those cranks and not had any issues.
Same with rods other than beware of the bolts.
CB supplies ARP 2000 bolts, the good ones, now with their H-beam rods.
Others mostly have 8740 bolts.
Not as good IMHO.

I have used plenty of the China crankshafts with no issues. The connecting rods are all pretty good but like Gary said, watch out for the bolts. That's the key to a good rod. If the bolt does not have ARP stamped in it, chances are it is not a great quality fastener.

Never seen a 90mm China crank.

Did you get a full circle version willie?

Lots of work to make them fit but they sure run sweet when you get them finished.
2498cc engines are the schnitz.......

Your gonna have around $625 in it with the full circle option (a must IMHO) and the shipping Steve.

If you have an extra one for some reason, I might be interested in one.
